We are excited to share the latest progress on The Lyceum, our Grade II listed project in Manchester. Phase 1 steel construction is now nearing completion, marking a significant milestone for the project.
The steel for Phase 2 will arrive shortly, allowing us to seamlessly continue our work without interruption. This timely arrival ensures that our construction schedule remains on track and that we can maintain the momentum built during the first phase.
Regular weekly inspections have been conducted, with all parties expressing satisfaction with the progress and quality of work. These inspections are vital in ensuring that every aspect of the construction meets the highest standards.
The production of the crucial listed windows is set to begin soon, in line with the site program. These windows are an essential element in preserving the heritage and architectural integrity of The Lyceum. Our team is committed to maintaining the building’s historical significance while incorporating modern construction techniques. Additionally, the procurement process for the building lifts has now entered the design phase, progressing as scheduled. This phase is critical in ensuring that the lifts are not only functional but also complement the building’s aesthetic and historical character. The design phase requires detailed planning and close coordination with our architects and engineers to ensure the lifts are easily integrated into the finished structure.
The whole team here at IPG would like to thank you for your support during this period of construction. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to develop this iconic Manchester landmark.
