Work at our flagship development, Central Point, have been progressing well during the first few weeks of 2024. The team have made major steps in preparing the site, as we start to bring the structure out of the ground.
Our trusted construction partner, Abrey Construction, have been clearing much of the foundation footprint, ensuring to remove as much waste material as possible to maximise the space for onsite machinery.
With drainage works completed across the site during the construction of the first phase, the team is well prepared to connect all the essential services to the building, helping increase the speed of ground works onsite.
As you can see from the images, the construction team have also started to work on the connection works that will see Central and Bastion Point join together. The roof of this section will be converted into the resident’s roof garden, which is one of the most unique features for both sides of the project.
Offsite, the procurement team have continued to setup the delivery schedule for essential materials needed for each section of the building. Our programme has been carefully considered to ensure that the project can be completed as planned, limiting the risk of any mitigating circumstances.
Over the coming weeks you will really start to see the building take shape, as we see the second phase of this development start to reach for the sky. With the building to be completed in approximately 60 weeks, the whole team here at IPG are really looking forward to the coming month’s progress.
Again, we would like to thank all our investors and wider stakeholders, who have been instrumental in helping deliver this market leading Liverpool Project.
