A huge welcome to all our investors to the March 2023 update at Bastion Point.
The weather has been kind to us since our January edition, giving the site team the opportunity to forge ahead with all concrete works. With the party wall award in place, the boundary wall and fence to the south of the site have been removed. This then opens up all the works in this area, enabling the team to complete the foundation works. All the pile caps have now been formed, along with the lift pit and stair core foundations, with the concrete frame columns now set out.
In the images you can see the column starter bars projecting up from the ground floor car park area. A high percentage of these have been formed with the concrete poured in at a height of approx. 600mm above the ground floor level. As you can see below, the team are checking all the levels to ensure each pour is completed to specification.
The perimeter blockwork wall is currently being constructed which, when complete, will act as a retaining structure to enable the ground floor to be filled and compacted in order to receive the tarmac base course.
This is due to be completed in the next week, which will indicate a significant milestone in the construction programme, as this means all substructure groundworks are complete. All the above works have been regularly inspected by our structural warranty provider Advantage, with building control being undertaken by Assent. The focus over the next few weeks will be on the concrete frame construction, up to second floor slab level. This will then take us to the next major milestone when the SFS (Steel Framing System) will commence up to roof level.
Having reached another major milestone for the project, the Integritas team continue to feel extremely proud to be involved in this flagship scheme, which will provide luxury living in this fast-developing area of Liverpool.
Once again, we would like to close off with a big thank you for the continued support, and we look forward to delivering our next update as Bastion Point continues to rise from the ground.
