Works are progressing well here on site at Bastion Point, as the concrete frame columns continue to rise out from the ground to form the ground and first floor car parking areas. This is also designed to act as a transfer deck for the loadings of the upper floors to transfer directly down on to the designed pile locations.
Offsite the SFS (Steel Formed Sections) framing is continuing to be manufactured by our specialist subcontractor. This not only speeds up the erection process, but also ensures strict quality procedures are adopted when manufactured in a factory environment.
Another benefit of this is that with fluctuating steel prices, all steel components have been procured, giving us overall cost control of this significant element of the works.
Applications have been made for a new incoming high voltage connection with associated substation. This will have the capacity to service the proposed three phases of works to future proof this and our other proposed schemes on the footprint.
The mains drainage connections have been made in Oriel Street under the strict guidance of United Utilities, forming another huge milestone of the project.
The Integritas Team are extremely excited about how the scheme is progressing, and we are well on programme to get watertight in the summer, which will enable internal fitout to commence before the weather deteriorates.
Finally, we would once again like to thank all our current and potential investors for your support on our flagship scheme, located in the heart of Liverpool City Centre.
