A huge welcome to all our stakeholders to our Bastion Point update for June 2023.
We are excited to announce the forthcoming acquisition of phase 3 here at Naylor Street in Liverpool. This new building is currently in for planning approval for 62 units, mirroring the design of Bastion and Central Point.
Not only will this provide valuable access and storage space for phases 1 & 2, but it also negates the need for the crane oversailing licence saving both cost and time.
On site the ground floor slab and internal drainage is now complete. Works are progressing well, as the concrete frame columns continue to rise out from the ground to form the first-floor car parking / transfer deck.
Offsite the SFS (Steel Formed Sections) framing is continuing to be manufactured by our specialist subcontractor, due on site at the end of June. This gives the concrete frame sufficient time to be completed whilst also providing the necessary curing time for structural stability. This will form the next major project milestone.
The Section 106 has been paid in full and all pre commencement planning conditions have been addressed.
Behind the scenes, our commercial team are looking to place the final orders for finishings to this prestigious scheme, ensuring no compromise on quality or availability.
Things are moving at pace and our projected target of being watertight during the dry summer period is well on track.
Exciting times lay ahead for all concerned on our flagship project in the heart of Liverpool progresses – Bastion Point.
